The distances |
 |
As organisers of the Oslo Marathon, we do our utmost to put together a run that you as a runner will enjoy and that we can be proud of. We ensure that there are plenty of aid stations to keep you well fuelled along the way, a well-planned route with enough space for all runners and friendly helpers to encourage you on. At the finish, glory and honour – and of course a medal – await you!
Marathon 42,195 metres

Many kilometres stretch out in front of you and some will seem pretty long. You’ll be tired, for certain, and you’ll probably struggle with some disillusionment along the way. But with good training and a little planning you can do it. And think of the feeling when you pass the finish line and throw your arms into the air: I am a winner! |
Half marathon
21 000 metres |
Half the distance, but just as much fun! With just over 21 kilometres, the distance is long enough to guarantee that you will be sweaty and tired, but less daunting than a marathon to undertake. It’s still more than enough, though, to give you every reason to celebrate when you cross the finish line and can say: I am a winner!

10 kilometre
The ten-kilometre is for those of you finding the marathon too long and the three-kilometre too short. A few trainingsessions in front of the race is enough to make sure that this will be a fantastic experience in Oslo. You have every reason to celebrate when you finish the distance: You are a winner!
3 kilometre
The three-kilometre is just the right length to give you the satisfaction and enjoyment of taking part in a fun sporting event with other runners and members of the public in the heart of Oslo. Maybe you want to run fast and hard, or maybe you have just invested in a pair of running shoes and want to set yourself a goal to get you started. Whatever the reason, whatever the speed, when the goal is reached you know for sure: I am a winner! |
